i came here with my dogs. variety of food for breakfast, which was excellent to satisfy everyone. the quadruple room i stayed in were cosy. the amicable staff was much appreciated. location: the hotel was close enough to the forest.

The venue exceeded high expectations, and I would definitely recommend it. the location of the property was magnificent, right in the heart of the city, and the Barbican was only 2 km away from the hotel. the restaurant offered excellent food.

The room was really clean and had a nice view of the garden. I loved having a bathtub—definitely a bonus for me! the staff were friendly and welcoming. Plus, the location is excellent since it’s close to the forest. 🌳.

I had a wonderful stay at L'Auberge De La Foret. the warm welcome from Dom made me feel right at home. the landhouse is charming and cozy, with beautifully renovated rooms. I especially loved the lovely terrace and the super comfortable, clean room. As an animal lover, it was a bonus for me to see their friendly cats and dogs roaming around in their happy environment. the location is perfect for exploring the Vendee region and for peaceful forest walks. the staff were incredibly friendly and the bar and restaurant were very convenient. the standout feature of this auberge was definitely the food. Dom and his assistant chef prepared two memorable dinners and the breakfast was delicious. a great place to stay!

Stayed at a delightful countryside inn with beautiful gardens and a cozy lounge. The breakfast was delicious and the terrace was a lovely spot to relax.
Just loved having animals in the restaurant during my meals. Such a pleasant surprise, definitely added to the dining experience.

Loved the garden, terrace, and restaurant/bar. The continental breakfast was delightful. The charming atmosphere made it feel like staying in someone's home. Would definitely go back.
Oh, and did I mention the joy of driving alone in the pitch-dark surroundings? Definitely not for the faint-hearted!

I recently stayed at this charming landhouse for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The cozy atmosphere of the place, located in the midst of a forest, provided a calm and peaceful environment. The staff was super friendly and the rooms had been beautifully renovated. The location was perfect for exploring various places around Vendee and going for walks. The bar and restaurant on-site were very convenient, and the food prepared by Dom and his assistant chef was absolutely outstanding. a great stay!
